Position Overview:
The CNC Programmer/Operator will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machinery, including the Elumatec SBZ140 (using ELUCAM software), SCM Accord 500 (Maestro Active) and MTC (TPA CAD). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CNC programming, machining processes, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program and operate CNC machines based on engineered drawings
  • Read and interpret blueprints and CAD files to ensure accurate part production.
  • Inspect machined parts for precision and quality using appropriate measuring tools.
  • Make necessary adjustments to machine settings to ensure optimal performance and adherence to tight tolerances.
  • Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure they operate efficiently.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to refine processes and improve product quality.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to company safety standards.

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in CNC programming or machining preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Programmer/Operator, preferably with MTC (TPA CAD), Elumatec SBZ140 (ELUCAM), and SCM Accord 500 (Maestro Active).
  • Strong understanding of CNC programming languages, including G-code and M-code.
  • Experience with CAD/CAM software and the ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
